About insert bases
An insert base is a slotted maple basket base with a holographic design set into the center. When light hits it, the design shimmers, so your finished basket carries a picture on the bottom as well as a woven body. Williams Family Mill makes these bases in Burgaw, North Carolina.
Our insert bases are 6 inch slotted maple bases, sanded smooth, with slots that hold your stakes in place. The designs include a custom dog insert that can be personalized to the breed, Cape Hatteras, Trinity, Nativity and Flower Burst. They suit gifts, keepsake baskets and seasonal projects.
