About basket weaving molds
A mold gives your basket its shape while you weave, so every basket you make from it comes out the same size. Williams Family Mill molds are 3D printed from durable recycled material, which makes them lighter than wood and easy to store and carry.
This page lists the 3 inch round mold, which is 2.5 inches tall. Most of our molds are sold with their kit, as a reusable mold in the box, and many kits can also be bought without the mold if you already own it. Some kits use a puzzle mold that comes apart so the finished basket lifts out without being forced.

Can I buy a mold on its own?
Yes. The 3 inch round mold is sold here, and the Multi-Mold kit has a Mold Only option.
Will my mold work with other kits?
Several relief-lid kits are made for a 6 inch mold and can be used on a 6 inch kit mold you already own. Check the product page for the size each kit needs.
